Speakers cutting out b?

i just put 4 door speakers in my 2001 mustang. It has the mach 460 audio system, so it has 2 amps. The speakers are only 80 rms and peak power 240w. When i put the b at a certain level it cuts out and only treble plays. Any ideas?
