I'm getting married but have never been to a wedding HELP!!?

I'm getting married at at the end of the year but I've never been to a wedding to know what the heck goes on, I mean I know about the whole Vows thing and all but when do you cut the cake? what about the bouquet? and do I have to do the whole garter thing? who sits at the head table? When should i have the first dance? I need some serious help here on traditional wedding etiquette. the wedding it's self is going to be at my church but I want the reception to be somewhere else, how should I make sure guests get there? Directions on the invitations seem a little tacky to me Somebody please Help!!!
