How competitive is it to become part of the DEA F.A.S.T?

I'd like to join the DEA after college. I'm interested in becoming part of the Foreign-deployed Advisory Support Team in Afghanistan. Do you need military experience? How hard is it to be accepted? Is it something you just have to apply for or is it something you have to be promoted to? How easy/hard is it to become DEA FAST?
