I'm inexperienced. What should I write on my ESL resume/CV?

So I would like the chance as a beginning language teacher in Korea or Japan BUT I have no experience. I have a BA in liberal arts subject, but not EFL or ESL and I do not have the money right now to study for a master's. Should I just submit a resume like I would in the USA but mention in a cover letter my interests in language and teaching or what?The only work experience I have is irrelevant, retail. I was also briefly in university ROTC but left for medical reasons(nothing still with me but I prefer not to list it).
