Wow! William what can I say? I think you might be putting too much pressure on the object of your affection and yourself. This is not life and death! I know it may seem like it but it isn't it's Valentines Day. A day of flowers, cards and candy. Lightness of the heart and spirit. Get it! Not so sure it's wise to be or be with someone who even euphemistically is battered or batters. Sorry dude.
